Jim Williams' incredible score to the Palme D'Or winning flick Titane is finally here on vinyl, and it makes for exactly the cold, pulsating and ominous listening experience that it should be. It's an unsettling accompaniment to the film that we're seeing on screen, while also marking Williams' second collaboration with director Julia Docouranu following his work on fellow body horror flick, Raw. Although not all parts of his music are straight off a horror film, Williams' score offers some tender passages that offer glimmers of hope which shine through in the form of warm tones and intricate melodies.
