Sometimes, Forever (Limited Edition Indie Exclusive Translucent Pink Vinyl)

Following her near-perfect 2020 release Color Theory, Soccer Mommy is back to kick us in the face (for the better) with her latest album, Sometimes, Forever. 

Described as "a great feel-bad summer record", the album features Sophie Allison channeling her angsty 80's alt-rock sound all throughout it's 11 tracks. The assisting production from Daniel Lopatin (a.k.a. Oneohtrix Point Never) help in honing Allison's biggest strengths without compromising her idealized vision. The end result is one that broadens the borders of her aesthetic without abandoning the unsparing lyricism and addictive melodies that made earlier work so easy for listeners to obsess over.

At it's core, Sometimes, Forever is an immersive and compulsively replayable record that's caught our attention as one of 2022's more notable releases which we'll find ourselves revisiting over & over. Definitely recommended!
