One of the most iconic yet extremely underrated records of the 80’s, No. 1 in Heaven is perhaps the greatest record to come from the duo of the Sparks brothers. Produced by Giorgio Moroder, this album was extremely influential on the synth-pop genre and is cited as the influence for group’s like Duran Duran, New Order, and even to some of today’s best producers like Jack Antonoff.

This 40th anniversary pressing contains an all new remaster supervised by the Mael brothers, and includes remixes and alternate versions of the tracks on a second disc. This overlooked gem sounds immaculate on the wax format, and comes with the highest of recommendations from us at Acetate Music!
