Prior to becoming the Motomami she's known as today, Rosalía's luscious debut album Los Ángeles put her on the map as one of the most promising flamenco songstresses of our time. Without the use of trap, hip-hop, or contemporary R&B beats, Rosalía utilized the sheer power of her vocals to capture an audience, not just by it's volume or vocal histrionics, but by the intensity of her passion when expressing herself. 

With production and arrangements by Raül Refree, the album is a fine entry point to the flamenco genre that retains the music's primal emotion. Los Ángeles is definitely worth checking out to anyone who's a fan of Rosalía or intrigued by the world music scene. Highly recommended!
