Here Comes The Cowboy (Limited Edition Indie Exclusive 180g Green & Black Swirl Vinyl)

Mac DeMarco returns with his newest album, Here Comes the Cowboy, the first album to be released on his new independent label, Mac’s Record Label. Referred to by Mac as his "Cowboy Record," the album was recorded in Mac's garage during the first two weeks of January 2019 using his own make-do-and-mend collection of vintage and analogue equipment. Loping instrumentation backs his laconic vocals for a prairie trail-ride’s worth of soothing songs while smooth soulful synth sounds in a minor key meld with a slide guitar to send it all back home.

As a whole, it's a collection of simple songs that are moody and atmospheric with haunting melodies from everyone’s favourite backporch singer. Recommended!
