The combination of worlds from American jazz legend Stan Getz and Brazilian guitarist João Gilberto sparked a wildfire in the history of music, as  Getz/Gilberto is considered the record that popularized bossa nova worldwide and was one of the best-selling jazz albums of all time, selling more than 2 million copies in the year of it's release alone.
