Brooklyn based indie rock group Big Thief have created a masterpiece with their latest album, Dragon New Warm Mountain/ I Believe In You. Highly lauded as one of the best albums of the year already, the record is highly innovative in it's lyricism and musical compositions which manage to build up their own little worlds that are as interesting as they are soothing.

There is definitely a ton of material worth discovering here on this double album, but it's expansive runtime isn't a detriment to the record's beauty at all. In fact, every bit of Dragon New Warm Mountain/ I Believe In You oozes a sense of creativity and passion, with the ambitious process making for a payoff that's ultimately worth it in the end.
