Daisy Jones & The Six may be a fictional band originating from the mind of Taylor Jenkins Reid, but the music of AURORA is very much a living, breathing record that perfectly channels the golden age of rock & roll.

With influences from Fleetwood Mac and other rock legends, AURORA is a fantastic homage to the sounds of the 70's. Not only is it period accurate, but all 11 tracks on the record were performed by the actors of the series themselves with production from notable names in the industry like Blake Mills, Tony Berg, Marcus Mumford, and Phoebe Bridgers. Although the album itself echoes many soft-rock elements from the musicians who contributed to the project, the presence of a lingering narrative in each track off the record tells the story of the band tied to the Amazon Prime original series.

Even if you aren't familiar with the source material, AURORA works perfectly as a standalone rock album. It's catchy and high-spirited energy is enough to capture any audience that's willing to listen, which also emulates a lot of the band non-fictional equivalents.
