Marina's latest album Ancient Dreams in a Modern Land is a modern pop triumph in our opinion, especially with it's use of conscious songwriting that's perfectly infused with the catchiness and hooks of Marina's works. It may take some inspiration from her Froot era in 2015, but it's even more playful, fun and emotionally resonant than any of her material before. Clash Magazine described it as "a 10-track wonder that is a more mature and eclectic take on her gloriously femme and thundering electro-pop", and we honestly couldn't agree any more with that. Highly recommended!
